Wilson family {Gore, Southland}

Last month I met Karla and her family at Doyta Black's beautiful home on the edge of Gore. Karla had requested her family do portraits as her birthday present & she wanted the setting to be at family friend, Doyta's stunning house!

The session consisted of Karla & her husband, Karla's parents and also her brother's family too! The boys were not entirely impressed that they had been roped in to having photos taken but they were good sports!!! 

Taking family photos inside was a great challenge for me as my natural habitat is generally outdoors! I love challenging myself with photography though. If you're not uncomfortable, you're not growing!!

I love this butterfly room Doyta! Forget counting sheep to get to sleep!!
