When a creative team bring together two styled shoots in one day it's pretty epic! If you missed the Spring Inspiration Shoot go check it out here! This is the second look we shot on the same day - going for an urban, street art look and making the most of the intriguing backdrop the city of Dunedin provided us with.
I absolutely loved shooting this look - shooting in the streets isn't something I do often so it was fun to get creative and capture something a little different. Carmel from The Avenue Design Studio played up the orange tones of the city brickwork through her copper hand-foiled paper goods.
Ayla from Twigs N Twine Dunedin created this relaxed and leafy bouquet which contrasted so well against the colours of the city and worked awesome against the vintage fur coat worn by model; Emily.
Steph at Love&GoodCo brought together some beautiful elements with her vintage inspired caravan again, demonstrating just how versatile this wedding caravan can be! Steph did copper sign-writing on the exterior of the caravan & a copper welcome sign - one of Steph's many styling props!
Our beautiful model Emily wore a Margaret Wray gown - bringing vintage to the city!
Emily's hair was styled by Julia Byars in a loose up braid & and her stunning makeup was done by Hayley Wylie.
These last images are my favourites. My goal for this styled shoot was to find an alleyway for some of the portraits - bringing the beauty & romance of a wedding to the ugly, shadowed geometry of city buildings. I loved the assignment of shooting an Urban Inspired Styled Shoot and enjoyed the stark contrast in backdrops, even if city parking is a bit of a nightmare ;-)
