Last week we spent a wonderful evening with Tom and Allesha on their wee farm near Dacre. These cuties get married in March and we cannot wait to be a part of their special day, because after their engagement session we absolutely know their wedding day is going to be heaps of fun, beyond beautiful and filled with laughter (and Allesha’s gorgeous giggle!).
It was a windy evening on the farm but the sunset light was stunning and I had such a great time creating these engagement portraits with Tom and Allesha. They reckoned they’d never had professional portraits done before but I’m still thinking they might be fibbing because these two were so good in front of my camera! It might be that Allesha is a fellow photographer too, but both her and Tom were just instantly at ease, happy to have a laugh and the whole evening felt like we were just hanging out with friends we’d known for years.
How good is that golden light?! Not to mention the cuteness of these two!
It wouldn't be a farm engagement session without a quick trip down the lane! So the dog was let out for a run around, then we jumped in the truck to go see Cuddles the cow and to get photos with the sweet neighbour's old tractor that he put out in the paddock especially for Allesha and Tom!
Considering Allesha met Tom when he took a farming job on Allesha's parent's farm I think the tractor (and the down-to-earth farm engagement session itself) was a fitting setting for these photos!
Tom and Allesha, thank you for having us out to your place last week! We thoroughly enjoyed our time with you and cannot wait for March - bring on the wedding! xx
