I have photographed the Todd family at least once a year for the past three years. As a portrait photographer it is hard to think of a greater privilege than being asked back to photograph a family year after year!
I caught up with Daniel, Emma and kids to take family portraits just as the spring daffodils in Queens Park had started to bloom. It was so great to catch up with this family, and a little hard to believe that almost a year ago I was photographing Rosie as a newborn!
The kids were all superstars in front of the camera & I had heaps of fun getting some candid shots!
So often parents aren't interested in portraits of themselves, focusing more on family shots & the kids. But this shot of Daniel & Emma is one of my favourites from the shoot!
Emma had an idea for a photo on the park bench - to have the family looking away & just Rosie standing up and looking back at me. While we got that shot, this is my favourite from the series - a cute, honest moment frozen in time.
Emma & Daniel, thank you for the opportunity to document your beautiful family. Being able to watch the kids grow and create images year after year for you is a great honour! xx
