Rose & Mike | Pukerau Garden Engagement Session

On the last day of April, in between the rain showers we met with Rose & Mike for their engagement session. Rose’s parents have just recently taken over the Pukerau Nursery which was the perfect setting for an engagement session, in amongst the expansive gardens and autumn colours.

I don’t think I’ve ever heard a girl giggle during a photoshoot quite as much as Rose did, and this was all down to Mike who confessed that Rose brings out his cheesy side. Whatever they were chatting about during all the photos worked magic anyway because these two were so relaxed and happy and it showed in every single photo.

Rose and Mike get married in Dunedin this spring and we're looking forward to being their photographers! We can already tell the day will be fun, laid-back and filled with lots of special moments including Rose's signature giggles I'm sure. 

All those autumn hues! Plus of course these two beautiful souls with their smiles!

Mike had Rose's engagement ring custom-made. He knew Rose wasn't a diamond lover so instead had it made with stones that are significant & precious to her. 

Rose & Mike - you guys were so much fun to photograph - there isn't a photo where you aren't smiling or laughing at each other! We had a lovely afternoon getting to know you both better before your big day in September. xx
