Reuben & Heidi's Cannibal Bay Engagement Session

It was wild and windy. The clouds were dark and the rain pelted down with force. But it didn't stop these two from smiling and laughing their way through their engagement session at Cannibal Bay last Saturday!

After a couple of postponements and just the stop-start year it's been, when the forecast looked bleak for their session again we decided stuff it, let's make it an adventure & get it done! While I wouldn't highly recommend these weather conditions (we could barely talk to each other or see for the rain in our eyes!) it did add an element of fun & wildness to the photos which I absolutely adore. I mean just look at that surf & sea spray!

Reuben and Heidi were such good sports for battling through, getting soaked through to the bone and pulling off some epic shots with minimal directions from me, yelled across the wind & waves. I'm not sure they'd say it was the most enjoyable 30 minutes and we definitely didn't get to hang about catching up for long but what cool photos to create in a place that is very special to Heidi.

Is there a more romantic shot than kissing in the rain?!
