Congratulations Bex & Glen! On Saturday these two tied the knot at Beersheba Estate in Invercargill and we were privileged to document their day for them. Bex and Glen are both down-to-earth, relaxed sort of people, which showed on their wedding day. There was no rushing about or fussing over small things - the day unfolded beautifully and these two never stopped smiling.
Bex and Glen celebrated not only their love for one another, but also their families, friends & the things they hold dear to them. Both Bex and Glen got ready at their family homes in Edendale, they chose photo locations that had meaning to them for their first look and Glen's family traction engines featured in the day as these are a big part of their lives too. The boys arrived to the ceremony on one of them & the whole bridal party steamed from Beersheba to the reception at the Ascot on it too!
My morning started at the Smith family home where I was welcomed in like one of their own!
Rebecca wore her nana's ring, a special way of including those that couldn't be there. Not only is this heirloom ring beautiful, but it matched perfectly with the navy accents of the wedding day!
Rebecca, beautiful lady, that smile of yours is so infectious - I've spent all day smiling as I went through these photos!
Meanwhile Matt was just down the road at the Clark family farm where the boys were scrubbing up for the day ahead.
Glen waited to see Rebecca at the Kamahi Reserve at the top of Edendale. They shared a quiet first look together under the native bush.
As we joined the bridal party for portraits the sunshine came out warming up what was to become a beautiful Southland afternoon.
Then it was onwards to Invercargill to get married! Beersheba Estate is looking lovely coming into Autumn.

Sharyn Payne worked her magic & made these two officially Mr & Mrs Clark...
Congratulations Rebecca & Glen!!!
The bridal party jumped into "Garrett", the traction engine, with the drivers & headed over to the Ascot Park Hotel where guests were waiting to celebrate the night away with the newlyweds.
The Ascot Park Hotel looked amazing with twinkle lights, beautiful floral & wood decorations and check out the epic head table with hanging florals!
As band Small Feet cranked into the tunes it was time for the first dance!
And one last photo, of a quiet moment shared, to finish a magical day.
Rebecca & Glen what a beautiful wedding filled with joy & many amazing moments! Thank you for choosing us as your photographers, Matt and I have loved getting to know you both and it was a privilege to be a part of your wedding day. We know fabulous things are ahead for you both & we wish you a lifetime of happiness together in your marriage.
Congratulations again friends! x
