Last Friday Rebecca did a totally awesome job of surprising Danny with a helicopter ride up to Cecil Peak for their engagement session and we had the best evening getting to know them both and shooting as the sun set!
Becs told Danny that I had asked them to meet me at the Frankton supermarket and we'd go from there for photos; Danny didn't suspect a thing until they turned left towards the air field instead of right towards the supermarket! But once Danny worked out what Becs had planned, I think he instantly warmed more towards the idea of having photos taken. 😉
Like a lot of couples they were a little nervous about having their photos taken and told me they weren't great in front of a camera - well I think they lied because I have found it so hard picking just a few favourites for the blog! These two are the sweetest, most down to earth couple and we loved hanging out with them on this shoot!
Danny wasn't the only one excited about the helicopter ride! Matt never gets to go on heli-rides for work so he was pretty stoked to get the front seat on this adventure. Becs even took a photo of us! It's not very often the both of us feature in a "behind-the-scenes" shot together! Thanks Becs. ❤️️
After an epic trip up to Cecil Peak we headed back to Becs & Danny's home at Jacks Point for a change of outfit and a few more photos. We even got Dude to sit still for a few shots, before Matt spent the rest of the shoot playing fetch with him!
I love Rebecca's beautiful engagement ring!
Danny & Becs thanks so much for spending your Friday evening with us, we had so much fun getting to know you both and we know awesome things are in store for April! x
