Michael & Christine | Dipton Farm Engagement Session

Michael & Christine are pretty much high school sweethearts, although like most good love stories it wasn't quite love at first sight ;-) While Michael & Christine now live just outside of Te Anau, which is where they will marry later this year, both grew up in this beautiful part of Southland; Michael from Winton & Christine at Dipton. So it was perfectly fitting that they did their engagement session on Christine's family farm.

Within the first five minutes of their engagement session I knew great things were in store! I mean just look at the chemistry between them! This shoot was full of love, fun and laughter! We had such a great time photographing these two and getting to know them both better. 

We had such a brilliant view over the valley from on top of the hill but I have the feeling these two weren't too worried about the view, with eyes only for each other ;-)

Photographing on family farms is always so much fun! I knew immediately how familiar Christine was with each paddock we went through, this is the land she has grown up on and I think that makes these photos even more special.

I get a tad excited when I see big paddocks of long grass! But it's because long grass is M-A-G-I-C-A-L !

Michael & Christine - you gorgeous people! I hope you had as much fun as we did on this engagement shoot! I cannot wait for your wedding, it's going to be fabulous! I feel like we're good friends already & you're both so relaxed in front of the camera, you guys are going to rock it on your big day! xx
