McIntosh Family Portraits {Alexandra, Central Otago}

A few weeks ago I met Jacky, Wayne and their handsome boys at their home in Alexandra to create some family portraits. Jacky found me through an online search and I am so glad that she did because it has been awesome getting to know this lovely family, not to mention that Alexandra is one of my favourite spots in Central Otago!

We had a fun afternoon in their backyard, which happens to be the family orchard, creating memories and precious photographs. I love photographing at people's homes & places that have special meaning to them. Wayne told me the orchard is fifth generation! So I think the backdrop for these photos is definitely extra special!!! Our family session included adventuring through the back sheep paddock to one of the oldest trees on the property, crunching on some apples from the orchard along our way and finishing with a drive up the hill to look out over the orchard itself as the sun set behind the hills.
