Joel & Aimee | Waimumu Engagement Session

Aimee & Joel were feeling the cold coming from mild Sydney temperatures to our Southland winter, but we didn't let the chilly air stop us from having an awesome time during their engagement session on Friday! And hot cocoas helped.

It was great to catch up with these two beautiful people, just months out from their wedding date, on Joel's parent's Waimumu farm. From the very first email I received from Aimee as they began their wedding journey I knew we had found a #heidihortoncouple. It's been lovely keeping in touch with Aimee and Joel, mainly via email, as wedding plans came together over the last year. I have the feeling that Aimee has read just about every blog post in my archives too! 😍

Aimee met Joel in Dunedin when they were both in their second year of uni. Just one look at these engagement photos will show you how good Joel is at making Aimee laugh - there wasn't a part of this shoot where the pair weren't smiling and I love it! 

So good - these two filled a thermos with hot cocoa for their session!
