Hannah & Sean | Engagement Session {Bannockburn}

Hannah & Sean booked us as their wedding photographers months ago, upon recommendation from their friends & our past clients, Becky & Tim (big love to team Nyhof!), but it wasn't until this month that we finally met in person. Within minutes of meeting Hannah & Sean I felt like I was catching up with friends, not clients. I absolutely love that about my job!

Sean proposed to Hannah just before Christmas which is Hannah's favourite time of year. Sean planned to surprise Hannah with the engagement ring as part of their advent calendar tradition. And it was a total surprise to Hannah even though unknowingly she was actually the one who signed for the engagement ring when it turned up on the courier!

These two are super sweet. I had a lot of fun creating these photos! Both Hannah & Sean are easy-going & were even happy to laugh at my lame jokes. 

We shared a drink at the Bannockburn pub before heading out at sunset to shoot their engagement portraits. We were spoilt with a lovely, calm Central Otago afternoon and beautiful light! First stop was the cool old Bannockburn Post Office.

As the sun began to fall behind the hills we snuck into the pines outside of Bannockburn for a few last photos. There is something a bit magical about photos in the forest!
