Grace family portraits {Gore, Southland}

A few days before Christmas I headed out to see the extended Grace family near Gore. Everyone was down on the family farm for Christmas & Karen had got in touch with me to do family portraits while everyone was together.

We had planned a late afternoon session in the summer sun, but the weather conditions weren't exactly in our favour! As I left Gore I noticed the wind picking up and by the time I got to the Grace's farm it was blowing a gale. But we persevered and the whole family were absolute troopers battling the wind. I think it paid off because we managed to capture some great family moments, even the children feeding Grandad's pet lambs!
