Last week our friends, Aaron & Kirsty, tied the knot with a beautiful garden ceremony and a celebration to be remembered with their loved ones! Kirsty knew Aaron was the man for her from the moment she met him. Since then they've been inseparable and now have a young son, Dylan who featured as a handsome pageboy on their big day! Aaron & Kirsty are both very easy-going people so naturally they planned a relaxed wedding day, giving themselves plenty of time to be with their family & friends. The gorgeous flowers were done by Kirsty's aunty Leona who also did a fantastic job of MC'ing the wedding! The girls spent the morning getting ready at the motel with makeup artist Julia Gray and hair stylist Sarah McLeod. Kirsty was probably one of the most laid-back brides I've had! When asked if she was even a little bit nervous her answer was an easygoing "no, I'm just excited!" which was simple to see from her beautiful smile! Kirsty - you stunner! xx Every bride can probably relate to the scene below - the pain of getting that veil in secure ;-) While I spent the morning with the girls, Matt went around to the blokes who were busy washing the cars. Now for anyone that knows Aaron it shouldn't come as a surprise that he spent more time detailing the cars than he did actually getting ready himself ;-) But in fairness his Speights blue Valiant looked quite the part! Then it was in to the cars and off to Waimumu where Kirsty & Aaron married in their family friend's beautiful gardens. Liz Lyall from Balclutha officiated the ceremony with a beautiful, light style then Kirsty & Aaron said their own written vows to one another. Aaron & Kirsty's son Dylan was pageboy along with his best buddy Devon! These handsome dudes had such a great day, never leaving each other's side & they definitely stole the show. Aaron & Kirsty gave themselves plenty of time between the ceremony and reception, so they didn't have to rush off for photos - instead getting to spend time with their family & friends in the gardens. We were spoilt for choice for photos with such beautiful gardens and the light was perfect! We even brought along the two drivers who provided us with entertainment & on-demand jokes for the afternoon - thanks Homeless & Stacey! These two look pretty happy to be Mr & Mrs Rawcliffe! Kirsty is a keen photographer herself so between us we had heaps of ideas and had a fun afternoon trying not to bore Aaron with too much photographer talk ;-) Aaron & Kirsty, you beautiful people! Aaron & Kirsty's reception was at the Gore Town & Country Club which looked spectacular! The room was filled with love & laughter. There were some beautiful speeches and lots of toasting. Everything and everyone was thought of. Vicki Ramsay created this masterpiece of a cake and it tasted as good as it looked too! Aaron & Kirsty, thank you so much for giving us the privilege of documenting your beautiful first day of marriage! We had such a brilliant time. I hope you love these photos (there are SO many more to come!), it certainly wasn't easy trying to pick my favourites for the blog ;-)
