Daniel & Lauren | Waikana Engagement Session

Our friends Daniel and Lauren recently asked us to be their wedding photographers after they got engaged. We couldn't be happier for these guys and it's a privilege to be getting to photograph their love!

We met them out at Lauren's parent's farm one Sunday afternoon for their engagement session. When we arrived I was a little worried we weren't going to be able to drag Daniel away from the game on the telly but once we got out on the farm he was pretty enthusiastic - although I think the fact we swung by the duck pond to 'check on things' helped ;-)

It wasn't a particularly warm evening but luckily the wind stayed away and it was pretty stunning up the top of the farm.

Matt has known Daniel for years, so they spent most of the shoot catching up while Lauren and I discussed wedding plans. Daniel and Lauren get married next year in February and I already know it's going to be a laid-back, fun day of celebration!

This was one of the only photos I got of Ali sitting still. That dog is on the go! And about five minutes after this photo he was swimming in the duck pond!

Note the Ed Sheeran hat here...that's because these two got engaged at Ed Sheeran's concert last year in Brisbane!

We had a great evening with you both Lauren and Daniel! Thank you so much for the farm tour and for a wonderful catch up over dinner afterwards. It was a pleasure to take these photos for you, I hope you love them!
