Damien & Tegan | Curio Bay Engagement Session

Now that summer has turned up in Southland is there anywhere better to be than the beach?! That seas breeze, the deep hues of blue and the sound of endless waves. Curio Bay is such a gorgeous spot on a summer's day and this happens to be where Damien proposed to Tegan so it was the perfect location for their engagement session.

​These two get married in March and we have the honour of being their wedding photographers! I first met Tegan when she did one of our photography workshops. A year later she got back in touch with me to ask about our wedding photography because her and her man had just got engaged! We had a wonderful time last week catching up with Tegan, getting to know Damien better (I think him and Matt could have chatted about cars all evening!) and we had some laughs creating these photos together.

Romantic walks on the beach...engagement session perfection right?! What you don't see here is how we were all being eaten alive by sandflies! It was pretty intense! Damien and Tegan were total stars to be looking so chill in these photos because I swear we were being swarmed by the sandflies! (Note to self, always pack insect repellent in the truck!).

Damien and Tegan, thanks for a fun afternoon at Curio Bay! We enjoyed catching up and getting to know you both better before the big day. Bring on March! x
