A few weeks ago I headed down the road to Mandeville to meet the Chamberlain family. It was a beautiful morning and we adventured around the farm to take portraits. Starting at this cool old shed with peeling red paint and textured wood boards.
It never ceases to amaze me the awesome people in this small world that I get to meet being a photographer! I really enjoy getting to know families and couples as I work with them to create portraits that I know they'll treasure for years to come.
The boys had plenty of ideas for photos including getting some with their beautiful white pony Rupee. I just love how these photos capture their fun and personality!
Last stop was the river before the rain came and there were some pretty dramatic clouds looking back towards the Hokonui's.
Dennis & Lea thank you so much for getting me out to create these portraits for you. It was such a pleasure to meet you both and the boys. I had a lot of fun getting a wee tour of the farm and these candid, full-of-personality portraits are exactly what I love creating. I can't wait to print them! x
