Bridget & Hamish | St Kilda Beach Dunedin Engagement Session

I love photographing at the beach with all that dreamy sea air and when the sunset turns the sky into colours of the rainbow...it's like a fairytale!

Last weekend we met Bridget & Hamish down at St Kilda Beach in Dunedin for their engagement session. These two get married next year and they've chosen us to be their photographers!!! It was awesome to meet them properly & get to know them both a bit better at their engagement session, plus I loved their choice of location! 

I never expect our couples to arrive to an engagement session & not feel nervous about being photographed, it's natural to feel awkward! I tell my couples it's not their job for them to know what to do or how to stand - that's my job; to coach them, provide direction and get them relaxed about being in front of my camera. While I knew Bridget & Hamish were a little nervous to begin with, it took only minutes before they relaxed and were practically volunteering to run out into the waves for some cool shots! 😜 These two were so awesome to photograph!!!

I mean...these two were such good sports - running out into the waves & doing romantic spins! 😍 You wouldn't know from these images that it was rather windy that afternoon, not to mention that having wet, cold jeans is never comfortable!!!
