Brendon & Vicki had an intimate & beautiful wedding in May at the Heartland Hotel Croydon Lodge Gore. And what an incredible day to finish out our 2014/2015 wedding season!
Brendon and Vicki's wedding was centred around celebrating with family and friends. They had a 'first look' before the wedding ceremony so that after the ceremony they didn't have to leave their guests to get photos done, it was straight in to the party instead!
I loved the rose bouquets done by the very talented Joyce of Lily Jackson Flower Co in Gore. I've seen some beautiful wedding bouquets this season! Definitely a perk to being a photographer is getting to check out the bouquets and there's something so classic and romantic about roses!
While Vicki was looking stunning with that gorgeously infectious smile of hers, the wee flower girl Maddie was looking pretty cute too!
Over at the boy's house Matt was teaching the lads how to tie ties and shine shoes. And taking photos of flowers ;) He's just so darn versatile, he really is my secret to success as a photographer!
Now I know Brendon would be disappointed if I didn't make mention of his wee red rocket ;) How cool is this Mini as a wedding car!!! It even got a feature on top of the wedding cake - more on that in a bit...
And while the boys got the car looking just right, me and the girls headed to the AMAZING home of Doyta Black's to wait for them in anticipation of the first look reveal. This is the second time I have had the pleasure of shooting at Doyta's, possibly the most photographed house in Gore!
Oh so beautiful Vicki.
By now I'm sure you'll see what I mean by Vicki's infectious smile. Well it's something her and Brendon share...
Excited to see his bride!
How cute was that for a first look?! And after a kiss it was time to celebrate with the bridal party!
Even making them hold the girl's flowers wouldn't stop Brendon's grin, although Kieran doesn't look impressed about the idea at all. On another note, I think Layton takes the trophy for ace-ing the jumping shot!
I just love how much happiness is contained in these photos! The way a wedding day should be, holding hands now and forever.
The Croydon Lodge was looking beautiful for the ceremony, complete with a beautiful archway.
After a heartfelt ceremony conducted by the lovely Barbara Frew it was time to celebrate with family and friends.
Check out all the cute details Vicki and the girls put together for the reception!
The awesome wedding cake by Michelle from Shelby's Cakes in Gore.
What a way to finish the best day - on the dance floor with your loved one. Mobile PA Solutions DJ from Alexandra ensured everyone rocked the night away!
Brendon and Vicki, thank you so much for having us as your photographers. 'Thank you' seems such an inadequate way of expressing how awesome it was working with you both & how grateful I am for your patience in waiting a little extra for your photos! I cannot wait to show you them all.xx
