Happy Valentine's Day friends! What a perfect day to be blogging a love story. 😍 Brad and Gin got married near Drummond, in the gardens which were once Gin's late grandmother's. Gin got ready with her bridesmaids at her parent's farm just down the road while Brad and his groomsmen spent the morning at his parent's just a few minutes in the other direction. Their wedding day was filled with laughter, beautiful country details and a lot of love. From the sweet quietness as they read each other's letters in the morning, to the loud cheers as Brad & Gin entered their reception to "Drop it Like It's Hot" by Snoop Dogg! Spending the day photographing Brad & Gin, alongside their bridal party, was like spending the day with old friends. We had so much fun. And I have SO many favourite photos that I struggled to fit them all into the blog! Absolutely stunning Gin! Both Brad and Gin had written letters to each other for the morning of the wedding. Beautiful words to read before they saw each other at the ceremony. Gin arrived to the ceremony by horse & cart. The horse, Gypsy, and the cart came all the way from Glenorchy and it was a gorgeous addition to the day! And just like that, they became Mr & Mrs Rogers! Surrounded by the love and happiness of their family and friends. Look at this fabulous bridal party! Sometimes I have to work pretty hard to get laughter from a bridal party but this crew laughed their way through all the portraits without me having to resort to any lame jokes at all! It felt like more of a party that a portrait shoot. Both Brad & Gin are into the rodeo scene so it was natural that the horses would be featuring in the wedding photos! There's a bit of a funny story with the photo below...there are a whole thirty-five versions of this shot and thirty-four of them are out of focus. 😆 It's always a good laugh getting one of the bridal party to take this shot for us with our couples! Thanks heaps Erica for this beauty - I have the feeling you quite enjoyed driving my camera! The marquee set up looked amazing. In fact there was just so much thought put into all the little details that completed the country feel throughout the day. The moody sky held back the rain all day until the evening. Which gave me a good excuse to have a go at my first off-camera flash rain shot... Brad and Gin - thank you so much for choosing us as your photographers and trusting us with capturing your beautiful wedding day! We have loved getting to know you both on this journey and thoroughly enjoyed spending Friday with you celebrating alongside your family and friends, who all made us feel so welcome!
