The Beattie family were all home together a couple of weeks ago and it made for the perfect opportunity to create some precious family portraits. I had a wonderful afternoon meeting Kaye & Warren, along with their three grown children and six beautiful grandchildren.
Kaye had originally got in touch with me over a year ago to enquire about taking photos of her family. The stars just didn't quite align at the time so I was thrilled when Kaye got back in touch to organise something while everyone was together this July! It can be hard to try and organise photos as the family grows and live scattered around the country (or even the world) but each time I do an extended-family portrait session I am reminded not only of how incredibly precious these photos are, but also how awesome it is to have that family time together.
We started the session out in the sunshine in Kaye & Warren's lovely garden, before heading down to the old train station. Here's just a few of my favourites from the shoot...
Beattie family! It was so much fun meeting you all and creating these portraits for you - thank you! And Kaye, a special thank you for getting in touch and organising this shoot. You have a beautiful family. x
