A couple of weeks before Christmas I headed out to catch up with Sarah and Andrew, friends of friends that we haven't seen for years! I got to meet their handsome new son George and create some family portraits for them.
I loved my time with this gorgeous family and I know the next time I'll probably see George he will have nearly doubled in size! (That's probably only going to be later this month when I deliver their wall print!!!). Time seems to fly so fast these days and it makes me appreciate how precious photos are even more. A photograph is a moment frozen in time, to be treasured forever. I'm sure it won't be long until Sarah and Andrew look back on these photos and say 'remember when George was that small!'.
You only have to look at my wedding blogs to know I'm passionate about precious details. And that seems to flow through into my newborn portraits. These detail shots are my favourite. Teeny toes and fingers. Squishy, soft cheeks. Button noses. 😍
Sarah and Andrew, thank you so much for allowing me to create these portraits for you. I had a wonderful time catching up and getting to meet baby George. Your print is going to look beautiful on your wall! And a special mention to Sarah & Shane for giving the gift of photos.x
