An old abandoned dairy factory {Kelso}

Meet Chelsea! A fun loving chick with a gorgeous smile, who is about as good with geography and directions as me (hehe) and doesn't do things by halves!

We organized to do a fashion/glamour type photo-shoot for the afternoon of Monday 12th and of course the good ol' Southland weather decided to play up. By the time we met in Gore it was raining on and off.

However we braved the elements & lucky we did because in the end it came out really sunny & Chelsea was left squinting while I cursed the bright glare of the sun, only minutes after I'd been complaining about the rain drops! LOL

On a whim (and very good recommendation from a friend) I decided upon taking a 'tikky tour' to Kelso where the cutest old Dairy Factory just happens to sit in a farm paddock!

The Kelso Dairy Factory, established 1913 (so it says), sings with weathered timber-framed windows and doorways, peeling red paint and rusting corrugated iron.
I fell in love with the old building & we ended up doing the whole shoot there! And I am so going back there again, even though Kelso is the most random place in the middle of no-where!

Chelsea had a wonderful assorted wardrobe for the occasion, all bundled in her blue washing basket. The ensemble, of course, wasn't complete without some polka dot gumboots! Which were necessary with the puddles and mud we had to navigate :)

Actually I loved Chelsea's wardrobe! Crochet tops, black lace, bright dresses & a splash of violet in the hair completed a stunning look!

We went for more of a seductive glamour type photoshoot with pretty colours, alluring looks and feminine tones & colours.

Chelsea was awesome and let me take the time to try a few different techniques & also learn as I went along with my new fancy external flash. And wow I had FUN!
I even tried out a little sun flare!

Chelsea was an amazing model & has helped me add some beautiful (well I think so :) images to my growing portfolio. Thanks Chels! xo
