I have the pleasure of working with the lovely Amy & was so excited when she approached me about doing some engagement photos for her and Regan.
I think the photos tell the story for themselves of just how sweet a couple they make. We ventured out to a beautiful piece of land that Amy's dad has out towards Dolamore Park, complete with stunning views and a charming little gully full of towering blue gums for this photoshoot & I was absolutely spoilt in terms of photographer inspiration.Amy & Regan recently arrived back from a holiday in Rarotonga with the awesome news they were engaged. I can't think of a better, more romantic setting for a proposal than Rarotonga with its idillic beaches and relaxed, island time atmosphere.
One afternoon at work, while we were imagining how lovely the weather in Raro would be while out our windows it was freezing cold & dreary, we actually contemplated whether Amy would come home to us with a ring on her finger - "they've been together a while now", "how romantic would that be in Rarotonga", "seems like the perfect opportunity to propose"!!!
And Regan didn't disappoint us ;)
I don't know all the details but Amy tells me she had no idea what was in store when they set off for a walk along the beach!!!
After arriving back in NZ, Regan and Amy designed the engagement ring themselves with the help of Regan's brother at the jewellers and had us all oohh'ing and aahh'ing when Amy walked in to work one day with the stunning ring on.
I'm sure I haven't done Amy & Regan's engagement story anywhere near the justice it deserves but I think it is one of the best engagement stories I've ever heard & so beautifully romantic.
Thank you to the both of you for letting me take these images for you & I'm so excited for you & your futures together! Bring on 2015.x
