Cromwell Central Otago Wedding | Simon & Alisha

I feel so honoured every time I am given the opportunity to document a wedding day. Every couple has such a beautiful love story & a wedding day is the ultimate celebration of this love. Being able to tell the story of a wedding day through my photos is the most rewarding part of the job.

Alisha & Simon's love story started in 2009 & has spanned a few continents, with their love story beginning in London. It took another few years & a trip to Alisha's hometown in Australia for Simon to convince Alisha they were made to be together.

And on the 15th of November 2014 they began a new chapter in their love story, taking each others hands in marriage in front of their family and friends. The day began with the boys putting the finishing touches on the details at the reception venue; the stunning Northburn Station just out of Cromwell.

Alisha & Simon thought of every last detail for their wedding - it was an absolute joy to photograph all the small things that helped make the day complete.

I love it when the bridal party is all chilled out and relaxed on the day, soaking up the atmosphere and enjoying every moment. And these guys nailed it!

Simon had a gift delivered to Alisha during the morning - a beautiful wooden photo album!
I can't wait for Alisha to show me this filled with all the memories of their day!!!

And then it was time to get into the beautiful dress! 

The ceremony was held in the beautiful gardens at the Elder's home in Cromwell.

Simon's smile says it all...

Then it was off to Highland's Motorsport Park for a victory lap!

Who needs a photo booth when you've got a gorgeous backdrop like this!

Just before the last of the speeches we stole the bride and groom away for some quick photos amongst the vines with the setting sun.

A handful of heart-warming and hilarious speeches, some expert cake-cutting and it was PARTY TIME!!!
